The Best Primer for Oily Skin

There are tons of primers on the market. Like any kind of product, it has a purpose and finding the right primer will help create your flawless look and unique makeup portfolio. The general purpose of a primer is to optimize the application and increase the longevity of the products you apply to your face  – much like a paint primer. There are primers for different skin types so choose wisely.

The Becca Ever Matte Poreless Priming Perfector ($44 CND)  is superb for oily skin or oily areas on your face. When I applied the product, it felt like it sucked the oil out and stuck in place. I found that my makeup stayed matte for 5 hours longer with this product, no touch ups.

And additional benefit is that it minimizes the look of pores. The primer is also free of silicone, oil, alcohol and fragrance.

You can apply the primer to your entire face, certain areas or use it to touch up over your makeup  as the day progress like a blot powder or paper. If you choose to use it for the latter, I recommend dabbing very little on, so you don’t disturb your makeup.
